Interactive US Map v2.7 – WordPress Plugin

The Interactive US Map plugin gives you an easy way to install and customize a professional looking interactive US map with 50 clickable states plus DC, then insert the shortcode into any page or post to display the map. Download the latest version from your downloads page, you can download the installable “us-map.zip” file, then do either. Update via WordPress Admin – Upload/Install the new plugin, replace the old one. (You may see a warning due to the change in the plugin file structure, you can ignore it). Update via sFTP – If you have access to your site files via sFTP, you can replace the plugin files with the updated ones.

Go to wp-content/plugins/us-map and replace the files with the ones in the zip file of the updated plugin. If you are using v2.2.0 or newer, the states customization should be kept after the update (you will need to check the checkboxes to display the lakes, AK, HI, DC if you want). Remember that the plugin comes with 3 installable instances, so you can install the 2nd instance us-map-ii.zip and test it before updating us-map.zip. After updating, you may need to clear the cache files (Ctrl+F5) to see the new update. If you have any problems or need help, please contact us and we will be happy to help you.
